Working with me

I provide psychotherapy services in person at the Solid Ground Psychotherapy office and virtually throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. I work with clients across the lifespan and have particular experience supporting adolescents, college students, young professionals, and adults navigating periods of transition and growth. My approach is psychodynamic and relational, grounded in the belief that healing takes place in the context of relationships and that lasting change emerges through understanding the deeper patterns that shape our thoughts, feelings, self-worth, and connection with others.Therapy with me is collaborative and engaging. Together, we clarify what matters most to you, understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop new ways of responding with greater confidence and flexibility. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more connected, and better equipped to build a meaningful and sustainable future.

Education and Training

My training reflects a longstanding interest in the intersection of mental health and education—particularly how learning environments and developmental experiences shape emotional life.I hold a B.A. from Brown University in Education History & Policy, an M.Sc. from the University of Oxford in Higher Education, and an M.S.W. in Mental Health from Washington University in St. Louis. During my graduate training, I completed my clinical internship at the Saint Louis Psychoanalytic Institute and received the Edward Lawlor Award for my advocacy on behalf of survivors of sexual assault.I also completed advanced clinical training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at Bryn Mawr College.
